The Coven of Leaves
The Coven of Leaves is a 501(c)(3) religious organization and Gardnerian Wiccan coven based in Western North Carolina, practicing the tradition as it has been passed to us through our Long Island lineage. We uphold the core structure of the tradition while approaching our work through an orthopraxic, non-binary, inclusive, and trauma-informed lens that emphasizes ethical practice, community care, and responsible stewardship of the mysteries.
We welcome seekers of all ages, races, sexual orientations, gender identities, and backgrounds. Our community includes both an Outer Court for students and seekers and an Inner Court for initiated members, with options for local and long-distance training, devotional support, spiritual counseling, and rites of passage. As part of our religious mission, the Coven of Leaves also provides clergy preparation and ordination for qualified individuals who demonstrate the readiness, training, and dedication required for service.
We also serve as a safe and affirming home for initiated Gardnerians seeking to leave unsafe or discriminatory coven environments, or who have been displaced or outcast due to identity, safety concerns, or exclusionary practices. We offer an ethically grounded, inclusive up-line for those who need continuity, accountability, and community without fear of harm.
Those interested in Outer Court study or connecting with the Coven of Leaves, or those with questions about vouches, lineage verification, or Gardnerian credentials, please reach out to us at covenofleaves at gmail. We are committed to transparency, safety, and ensuring that seekers and initiates alike have access to supportive, affirming spiritual community.
All that is required of a seeker to The Coven of Leaves is a curious mind, a willingness to learn, and a sincere heart.
